| If I get my dog neutered, will he become lazy? |
There are many benefits to having your dog altered. Most dog bites occur on children under the age of 12 by intact males. Neutering a dog will calm him and allow him to be more at ease. When a neighboring female comes into heat he won’t drive himself crazy trying to get to her. Intact males roam more than any other dog. If you don’t believe it, visit your local animal control. |

| Is it better to adopt an adult dog or puppy? |
That really depends on you. Do you have the time, patience, and money for a puppy ? Adults may require less time but may have some behavioral problems. When you adopt a puppy you are starting from scratch. When you adopt an adult you may have to correct/retrain old behaviors. |
